is a mess, and pirates are fishermen who need a livelihood. Not terrific.But now the rescue. A deal had been proposed to trade the captain for the pirates. The US (who?) refused. Now the rescue is a “success”.  But three pirates are dead, and the Somalis hold over 200 other hostages! I think we stood for tough rather than interested. The next will not be good. Much of Africa will be more negative toward the US.
